Britney Spear’s father is now asking the court for help in controlling her finances and medical treatment by appointing a co-conservator to work with him on the pop star’s estate.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Jamie Spears has filed a petition with the court to appoint Andrew Wallet, as a co-conservator to be working alongside him on Britney’s case.
If the name sounds familiar, Wallet WAS her co-conservator until he resigned in 2019. At the time, we were told he has major issues with the way other team members were handling the pop star’s affairs.

In the documents, Jamie is requesting Wallet be allowed to help manage several parts of Britney’s life including her finances, medical treatment, even her music career.
He is asking the court, to allow him, “The power to obtain all documents and records relating to the Conservatee and her assets, whether held in her name or in the name of another, all contracts, information relating to credit cards, bank statements, estate planning documents, receivables, and any and all powers of attorney.”
Plus, in addition, “The power to revoke all powers of attorneys, including powers of attorney for making health care decisions and managing real estate, and to terminate any and all agencies.”
It’s interesting timing, considering Britney made it clear she does NOT want her dad continuing as her conservator, and says she wants a financial management company to handle her business.
In the documents, Spears asks that the new co-conservator be allowed “the power and authorization to pursue opportunities related to professional commitments and activities including but not limited to performing, recording, videos, tours, TV shows, and other similar activities as long as they are approved by Ms. Spears’ medical team.”
As we reported, Britney’s lawyer claims the pop star has no wish to perform at this point in time and wants the conservatorship changed due to her new lifestyle.
It should be noted, the #FreeBritney movement has long considered her old conservatorship team as part of the problem.
Shockingly, the filing including a request to have them be able to have the power to “prosecute civil harassment restraining orders that he deems to be appropriate.”
As you know, Jamie Spears has lashed out at the #FreeBritney movement, claiming it is a bunch of conspiracy theorists and has been involved in litigation with so-called Britney fans in the past.
In the request, the court is being asked to give him power to “delegate the sole responsibility of selecting, investing in and monitoring the particular investment vehicles for the conservatorship assets.” In other words, control all of Britney’s investment accounts and manage others who are involved in that process.
Again, this is very interesting, considering Britney’s wishes.
In the end, Jaime is asking the court to order that “Amended Letters of Conservatorship be issued to James P. Spears and Andrew M. Wallet as Co-Conservators of the Estate of Britney Jean Spears.”
The judge in Britney’s case will have to make a decision on the request.
