Britney Spears wants to extend her family and have children with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, but it appears her legal issues involving her conservatorship have stood in the way for quite some time.
According to reports, the pop princess told investigators in her conservatorship case that she was planning on having a baby as early as last year.
“Britney told the probate investigator late last year she wanted to have a baby,” the report claimed. But, her conservator and father Jaime Spears was against the idea.
According to UsWeekly, who broke the story, the news surfaced after Britney rushed to court last you to challenge some of the restrictions on her conservatorship.
In the case, the judge ordered an evaluation of the entire situation, including Britney’s mental capacity as a mother, and the effectiveness of the current conservatorship. Normally, an investigator is assigned to the case, and Britney let her feeling be known.
As we reported, the case has been pushed until August 22, and no decision has been made about the specifics of what may be changed in the case.
We broke the story, Britney’s father stepped down as conservator citing “health issues” after he was accused of getting physical with one of her sons.
Britney Spears is also itching to tie the knot with longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari, the magazine reports.
But, Britney is under a personal conservatorship and can NOT get married unless she gets approval from her conservators and the court. The reason — getting married is entering into a formal contract recognized by the government. So, part of a conservatorship is that you can’t enter into ANY contract unless the court signs off on it.
It would be the same if Britney was signing a contract to buy a new home.
BS stared dating Sam Asghari in late 2016, after meeting him on the set of her music video, “Slumber Party,” and the couple has been inseparable ever since.
Britney Spears has been under a conservatorship since 2008, and most would agree that it has been largely a very successful thing in the pop star’s life. But, can the group of family members and lawyers control how Britney chooses to date or if she decides to extend her family?
Well, it appears some of these questions may be answered as soon as the conservatorship court case can be heard in Los Angeles County Courts. For now, it will all have to wait.
As you know, Britney is not letting any of this slow her down, she has been lighting up Instagram with hot photos and videos on an almost daily basis.
