Brad Pitt is still trying to atone for some bad life choices when it comes to his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.
A source spoke with Entertainment Tonight to explain.
“Brad is completely sober now and is in such a different place than he was when they were together.
Brad is truly an introspective guy who has worked hard on himself. He has apologized to her for many things he felt were his issues in their relationship. He truly takes ownership for his mistakes and that has changed their relationship with each other today. They both have moved on.”
Many fans would like to think that sparks flew between the two when they were seen together at the SAG Awards last weekend, but we just don’t know for sure.
There was that widely circulated photo of Pitt watching Aniston on TV receiving her award for her work on “The Morning Show.”
Other photos showed the two of them greeting each other, clearly happy that they were award-winners (Pitt won an award for his supporting actor role in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.)

Entertainment Tonight also says Aniston and Pitt have matured since they were together.
According to another source:
“Right now they just love and adore each other and have been much closer friends since their divorces,” the source says of where Pitt and Aniston stand now. “They have a very mature relationship that has evolved over time because they both have experienced marriages that didn’t work out.
Brad has grown so much in his life since he and Jen broke up.”
For those unaware, Pitt and Aniston broke up in 2005 after a five-year marriage. A year after their breakup, Aniston spoke to Vanity Fair to recount some details about the breakup, including Pitt’s then burgeoning relationship with Angelina Jolie, around the time they both starred in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Entertainment Tonight writes that in the Vanity Fair article, Aniston made sure to bring up to Vanity Fair the W magazine story with a feature on Pitt and Jolie that was titled “Domestic Bliss.”
“Is it odd timing? Yeah. But it’s not my life. He makes his choices. He can do — whatever. We’re divorced, and you can see why,” Aniston said back then.
Things clearly are not as icy as they once were between Jen and Brad, and both are no longer in serious relationships.
Last February, Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party in Los Angeles, so. According to E!, Jen’s party was the first time they had gotten together in some way since their breakup. It’s safe to say they are friends.
But are they friends who could turn serious again?
