According to Us Weekly, things between Brad and Angelina are not going well in their divorce proceedings. A source told the outlet, “Tensions have escalated between Brad and Angelina, with family therapy no longer taking place.”
The two are set to face off in court in October over custody and support. The custody will only involve their minor kids Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Their oldest son Maddox is an adult and the custody order won’t apply to him.
The source added, “Brad wants 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of the kids. Angelina has been unagreeable to those terms. She will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to.”
As The Blast previously reported, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been battling it out in court for years. Back in 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad citing irreconcilable differences. In the original petition, the actress demanded physical custody of their 6 kids. Back in 2018, the couple reached a deal on custody and avoided a court trial.
Brad and Angelina married in 2014 but had been together since 2004.
The divorce drama comes as news broke of Brad dating 27-year-old model Nicole Poturalski. The two have been spotted out and about for months. Nicole is still reportedly married to a businessman named Roland Mary. The two reportedly have an open marriage and Roland is not jealous of Nicole’s romance with Brad.
Nicole recently spoke out for the first time since the romance was revealed. Brad has yet to publicly to the news of his new relationship.
