Blac Chyna scored a small victory in her legal battle against the Kardashians and baby daddy Rob Kardashian, with a judge allowing her to depose Ryan Seacrest in the case but not forcing Seacrest to turn over private texts with Kylie Jenner just yet.
According to court documents, a Los Angeles judge granted Chyna’s motion to take a deposition from the “American Idol” star.
The order states that Seacrest could have relevant information as to why the E! Network ultimately made the decision to cancel the second season of Rob & Chyna, as he served as executive producer on the short-lived reality show.
During the deposition, Chyna will be able to keep Seacrest for up to three hours of questioning in a single day, and will also be allowed to videotape the session.
Rob’s baby mama was also demanding Seacrest produce his private communications with Kim, Khloé, Kris and Kylie. Seacrest will not have to turn over any communication at this time, but may have to submit everything eventually.
The court also warned, if Seacrest doesn’t deliver all the information required for the deposition to Chyna’s satisfaction, she will get another shot at deposing him for a second day.
As for what she’s going to ask, we’re told Chyna wants to question the TV producer about the cancellation of “Rob & Chyna,” which she believes was axed due to influence from the Kardashian family.
Kris Jenner and the Kardashians have denied all allegations that they were responsible for Chyna’s cancellation, and Rob claims he couldn’t participate anymore due to the alleged domestic violence from Chyna.
