Billie Lourd Will Play Late Grandma Debbie Reynolds' Granddaughter in 'Will & Grace'

Billie Lourd will honor her late grandma Debbie Reynolds in her next role.

The "American Horror Story: 1984" actress has singed on to play her real-life grandma's on-screen granddaughter in "Will & Grace."

Reynolds, who died in 2016, played Grace's mom, Bobbi Adler, in the original hit show.

The 27-year-old made the announcement on social media Thursday, saying, "there are not enough happy adjectives in the world to convey the excitement I feel."

"I have watched and loved Will & Grace since I was (probably too) young. So getting to watch my grandma play Grace’s mom was one o’ the coolest things to happen to my young willandgraceobsessed self," Lourd wrote.

Adding, "Next week I get to play my real life grandma’s on screen granddaughter on one of my favorite shows and there are not enough happy adjectives in the world to convey the excitement I feel."

Lourd joins a slew of celebrity guest stars, like Demi Lovato, who have made appearances on the reboot.

Her co-star Debra Messing shared several behind-the-scenes photos with Lourd and said she could feel Reynolds' spirit.

"I can’t tell you how much it means to have Billie here. I feel Debbie near," Messing captioned the snaps.

Revealing she also knew Lourd's mom, legendary "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher, Messing added, "I know Debbie & Carrie will be watching their beloved Billie soar."

Lourd lost both her mother and grandmother one day apart nearly three years ago.

Fischer passed away from a heart attack on December 27, 2016, just 6 days after her 60th birthday.

Reynolds died the following day.

Lourd's grandma suffered a stroke and passed away on December 28, 2016. She was 84 years old.
