Bill Cosby is not remorseful while serving out his prison sentence, and is still adamant he did nothing wrong while believing he is being held as a "Political Prisoner."

In a statement obtained by The Blast from Bill through his attorney, Andrew Wyatt, Cosby explains, "Here's why I have 'no' remorse and I will never have remorse."

The imprisoned comedian is referring to a recent interview with Wyatt where he detailed Cosby's prison life and explained why Cosby is not sad during visits. We're told other inmates at the prison told Cosby about the article, and he wanted to clarify his position.

On Tuesday night Cosby hopped on a phone call with his wife, Camille, and dictated the statement.

"I was given a deal; I settled out of court for $3.8 million dollars; I waived my 5th amendment rights; I was declared Not Guilty in 2005 by the Commonwealth - never charged," Cosby continued, claiming a "low-life District Attorney and a corrupt Judge needed me Guilty now."

He also claims the sexual violence classes he was ordered to attend were a form of "entrapment."

Cosby still believes his trial and incarceration were politically motivated, and says "My political beliefs, my actions of trying to humanize all races, genders and religions landed me in this place surrounded by barb wire fencing, a room made of steel and iron."

The 81-year-old says he now has a residence similar to some of the "Greatest Political Prisoners," and names off Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Randal Robinson and Dr. Benjamin Chavis.

Cosby is adamant, "I will stand upright as a Political Prisoner and I Smile. The Truth is Strong!"
