Diddy shared an amazing story about one of Biggie Smalls' biggest hits, "Hypnotize" on the anniversary of the rapper's murder, and it shows just how legendary of an artist he really was...you have to hear it!

The 'Bad Boy' boss shared the story on Instagram by posting a photo of the two of them from the 1990s from inside of a music studio.

In the picture, you can see the Notorious B.I.G sitting down with a frustrated look on his face, and it appears Puffy is talking to him about something. Diddy shared with fans of the rapper's just how important that moment was for both of them.

"Big was the perfect artist! This candid moment when BIG was having writers block. This only happened to him once. He was talking about retiring. And I’m basically just tell him to stop talking crazy and that he was the greatest of all time," Diddy captioned the photo.

Diddy continued with this shocking revelation, "Then he went in and made hypnotize! ????True story ? #badboysforlife WE WILL NEVER STOP!!!!! #wemissyouBIG"

On March 9, 1997, Biggie Smalls was shot and killed after leaving an industry event in Los Angeles.

According to reports, on March 8, BIG presented an award to Toni Braxton at the 11th Annual Soul Train Awards in LA and there was some booing in the crowd. At the time, there was a huge beef between East Coast and West Coast rapper's including BIG and Tupac.

Biggie attended a 'Vibe' after-party for the event at the Peterson Automotive Museum, where the guest list included various members of the Bloods and Crips street gangs.

In the early morning, around 12:45 a.m, BIG made his exit from the party in a SUV. The truck came to a stop only 50 yards away from the location at a red light, when a Black Chevy Impala pulled up alongside it, and shots rang out.

Four bullets struck Biggie, and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where doctors attempted to save the rapper's life. He has pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m. He was 24 years old.

According to his autopsy, the fatal shot entered through his right hip and struck his colon, liver, heart, and left lung before stopping in his left shoulder.
