Beyoncé might be one of the most perfect women on the planet, but we can’t say the same about the french manicure she sported to the Golden Globes over the weekend. The “Brown Skin Girl” singer, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her song “Spirit” on the “Lion King” soundtrack, stunned at the award show in a tight black gown with puffy oversized golden sleeves. Days later, Queen Bey shared several personal pictures from her date night with Jay-Z but one photo showing a close-up of her manicure has left fans cringing.
Beyoncé posted snap after snap of the event on social media Wednesday. The Grammy winner and her rapping superstar husband posed together ahead of the Golden Globes in the driveway of their mega-mansion. Showing off her fabulous famous curves, Beyoncé wore her shiny hair straight and behind her ears to display her diamond dangling earrings. Jay-Z looked sharp too in his black velvet suit jacket and bowtie. The singer also posted snaps of her beautiful accessories while sitting at the award show table with her beau.
Taking off those sheer black gloves that everyone drooled over, Beyoncé displayed a pic of her little black clutch with gorgeous green stones, which she was holding. To the naked eye, many just saw her freshly done french manicure; but if you look closer, you’ll see Beyoncé has a tiny chip on her right thumb. “Sis, is your nail chipped?” wrote one fan. “Chipped and she had dandruff. Sis must’ve been in a rush for this event,” another follower responded. Not everyone was willing to call Beyoncé out for the embarrassing beauty flub. “I’ve decided to STAN these imperfections. I ain’t eeeeem mad,” stated someone else.
Blue Ivy‘s parents, who just celebrated their oldest child’s 8th birthday, made headlines after being over an hour late to the Golden Globes. Beyoncé and Jay-Z made their entrance on their own terms and came prepared. According to Complex, the famous duo were seen bringing in bottles of Jay-Z’s backed champagne, Ace of Spades. Page Six reported that their bodyguard was seen holding the bottles of bubbly for the two while they found their seats. Apparently Moët & Chandon, which is the sponsored drink of the Golden Globes, wasn’t good enough for this high-profile couple.
