The season premiere of “Dog’s Most Wanted” aired last night on WGN, and fans were reaching for the tissues upon seeing footage of Beth Chapman.
Chapman died June 26 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She and her husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, were filming episodes for “Dog’s Most Wanted” even as Chapman went through chemo and numerous doctor visits.
The “Dog’s Most Wanted” Twitter feed posted images from the show, including a gif with Duane saying “This One’s For Beth.”
People used the #ThisOnesForBeth hash tag to memorialize the bounty hunter and TV personality.
“Beth looks beautiful as always! #ThisOnesForBeth,” wrote @Italia8181
“Miss this beautiful lady!” said @anglstratus2012.
Beth and Dog starred in “Dog the Bounty Hunter” from 2004 to 2012.
“Omg my beautiful Beth….You are so missed. Look at you go ready to catch them. You said you were gonna keep going until it was over and you meant it. God rest your beautiful soul,” said @GinaMuniz8 on Twitter.
For some fans, watching her on TV brought that sinking feeling that Beth is really gone.
“It’s starting to hit me hard seeing her alive and in action I bawled watching it so far it don’t feel real,” said @kaitlanlawren20
Viewers, like @Amanda10880, acknowledged that Beth was a badass with a heart of gold:
“Such a strong woman. She could take ya down one minute and pray for your life to change the next moment. Even after putting her family in danger she would pray for the lives of the criminals.”
