An insider source says that Dog the Bounty Hunter, 67, who's now with girlfriend Francie Frane, 51, doesn't plan to remarry, even though he says he wants to spend the rest of his life with Frane.

According to the source, they've been quarantining together and things seem to be going better than expected.

"Dog is quarantining with Francie in Colorado and they’re getting along so well right now. Everyone in the family is on board with the relationship that is brewing."

The 'Honeymoon Phase'

As the source details, things are really really good between the two of them -- it's apparently the "honeymoon phase."

"Right now, it’s the honeymoon phase of the relationship for them. But, saying that, don’t plan on any engagements or marriages anytime soon. He promised Beth he would never remarry, but he does plan to be with Francie forever — that’s how good things are going."

Family OKs the Relationship

Celebrity Insider notes that even Dog's family approves of their relationship, including Lyssa Chapman, who also gave her stamp of approval on social media.

"Francie gives him a new lease on life and the fact that his family approves is the key to it all. So much stress has been lifted off of Dog’s shoulders because of the fact that everyone is really receiving this new relationship well."

Lyssa announced the news of her dad's new relationship on March 22 on Twitter.

Lyssa and friend Rainy Robinson both say that Dog is “head over heels” for Francie.

“They are both so happy together and they are good for each other,” Lyssa says.

Things Are Better Overall

The source adds that Dog's frame of mind has also improved since he began dating Francie.

"Dog has been in such a better mood as of late, and he’s also taking care of himself better. Francie is looking out for him as well."

Those are all great signs that he's in a healthy and happy relationship.

We're nearing the first anniversary of Beth Chapman's death. Dog's wife died last June after a tough battle with throat cancer.

He's spoken several times about losing Beth, and expressed his loneliness and sadness at being without her.

A source spoke to Hollywood Life, saying:

“There is zero disrespect to Beth and she will be forever loved, but Dog is really enjoying the little things and the connection he’s making with Francie — because he was completely gutted with the loss of Beth."

So dating Francie Frane doesn't mean that Dog is forgetting about Beth; Dog is just trying to find some balance in his life.
