Ben Affleck and Jen Garner may have already moved on to living their lives apart, but the L.A. court is sick and tired of the stars dragging their feet in their ongoing divorce, so now officials are threatening to dismiss their entire case.

According to a document obtained by The Blast, Ben and Jen were recently advised by the L.A. Superior Court that their case has not been completed because the final judgement has not been filed and entered.

The court is laying it all out, telling the estranged couple "If you fail to take the appropriate steps in your case, the court may dismiss your case for delay in prosecution."

The stars originally filed to end their 10-year marriage back in 2016, and since then have been working out the details regarding their final settlement.

Ben was staying in the guesthouse at the family's mansion in Los Angeles, but moved out in 2017 shortly after he began dating girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.

While the divorce is being worked out, Ben and Jen have been amicably co-parenting their three children and trying to make the transition into their new lives as easy as possible.

Sources close to the couple tell us the divorce is close to being wrapped up, and the final settlement between the two stars is humming along, but it's unclear why they haven't been able to tie up the legal loose ends.

The silver lining, for all the Bennifer II fans out there, is if the divorce gets called off then Ben and Jen are still married!
