Bella Thorne posted a few of her own nude photos on Saturday after she says she was threatened with their release by a hacker.
The actress and author shared text messages showing the nude photos during an apparent interaction with the hacker. She wrote a lengthy message alongside them, which began, "Yesterday as you all know my s**t was hacked For the last 24 hours I have been threatened with my own nudes I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something special from me that I only wanted one special person to see."
She continued, "He has sent me multiple nude photos of other celebs, he won’t stop with me or them he will just keep going…I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW U DONT GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME."
Bella went on to say, "I can sleep better tonight knowing I took my power back…Here’s the photos he’s been threatening me with, in other words here’s my boobies."
She concluded the post by saying, "So here fk u, and the last 24 hours I have been crying instead of celebrating my book while doing my book press. Oh yea, the fbi will be at your house shortly, so watch. Your. Mother. Fkin. Back."
It's unclear if any other celebrities have been contacted by the alleged hacker.
In 2014, hundreds of nude photos were leaked online of celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton.
Five men were eventually caught and convicted in relation to the hacking following an FBI investigation.
