'Basketball Wives' Star Evelyn Lozada Debating Return To Reality Show

By Ryan Naumann

Evelyn Lozada is still figuring out whether she will be returning for another season of “Basketball Wives.”

The reality star caused fans to lose it after answering questions on Instagram. One person asked Lozada, “Are you returning to BBW?” She responded to the follower saying, “Most likely no.”

Lozada’s comment caused “Basketball Wives” fans to freak out fearing the original “BB Wives” cast member would not be coming back.

Sources close to Lozada tell The Blast, the reality star was approached by production to return for season 9, which is scheduled to start filming at the end of the month.

We’re told Lozada is willing to come back but doesn’t want to be around people like costar OG Chijindu.

Sources say Lozada understands being on a reality show makes you fair game for a lot of things. However, she doesn’t want to be around people who are willing to make false allegations for attention.

Lozada is focused on her successful jewelry and skin-care businesses and not sure returning is worth the trouble. We’re told no decision has been made yet.

Back in October, Lozada sued Ogom “OG” Chijindu for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. In the lawsuit, she pointed to a series of tweets written by OG, which accused her of being a racist and a bigot.

Lozada says “this entire defamatory statement is false as stated” by OG. In the suit, Lozada points out she is of Hispanic descent and her 2 children are of African and Hispanic descent. She is also the chairperson of the Evelyn Lozada Foundation, which raises money for domestic violence victims.

As a result of the OG’s statements, Lozada claims she has, ”sustained serious financial harm through loss of income as well as serious and permanent injuries. The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages. The case is ongoing.
