Barack Obama Spent Father's Day in France With His Daughters

By Chad Weiser

Former President Barack Obama took his Father's Day abroad while on a family vacation in the south of France.

44 was seen with wife, Michelle, and daughters Malia and Sasha as they began the day doing a little sightseeing at the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the biggest gothic palace in the world built in the 1300s.

The Obama's then headed to dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant, La Mirande, for a Father's Day meal. The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star this year.

According to the establishment's website, La Mirande "delivers all the richness of its secular heritage."

20-year-old Malia looked stunning in a white backless jumpsuit with a criss-cross halter neckline.

The Harvard student wore her long braided hair pulled back in a loose bun. She accented the white out fit with a small red leather bag that really tied the whole ensemble together.

18-year-old Sasha, who is a spitting image of Michelle, wore a yellow snake print sundress that she paired with some white sneakers.

Sasha just graduated from high school on June 12 and is planning on attending college at the University of Michigan.

Michelle opted out of the fancy dinner, and Barack kept it casual in a blue shirt, jeans and his shades.

Even though she didn't attend dinner, Mrs. Obama still gave a sweet shoutout to her hubby on the special day.

"Pretty grateful for this guy. Happy Father’s Day!" the 55-year-old former First Lady wrote, alongside a photo of a very young-looking Barack holding Malia and Sasha when they were still little girls.

Well, they'll always be his little girls.
