Bam Margera was hospitalized while receiving treatment in Huntington Beach, but he assured fans he would be discharged in a few hours.

The former "Jackass" star posted and deleted a photo on his Instagram page late Wednesday night, showing him lying in a hospital bed.

Adema [sic] sucks but i will be fine and out in a few hours, Bam wrote to fans.

Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in the body's tissues and is sometimes associated with alcohol abuse, as alcohol causes the body to retain more fluids.

Bam seemed to understand that his drinking may be an issue, and admitted the condition was caused by, "either reaction to new medicine to detoxing from i guess a bit of alchohol [sic] from two weeks ago when i had the pleasure to go to jail."

As we reported, Bam was arrested at a hotel on Sunset Blvd after getting into an argument with the staff while allegedly wasted. He was taken to jail to sober up, and was released the next morning.

Shortly after leaving jail, he re-entered rehab for the third time in less than a month.

"Bam will be unavailable until 9/6/19 from his phone. So anyone texting, calling or trying to reach him, he is in rehab getting treatment," a message to his Instagram account read.

He posted an update to fans after speculation that he may have already left treatment early, and left a handwritten note on a stained piece of paper.

"I have been in rehab in Huntington Beach for 2 weeks," he wrote.

Bam also reconnected with longtime friend Brandon Novak after he had publicly ripped the "Jackass" co-star for trying to help him during his social media meltdown.

"I made friends with my sober asshole best friend again when he took the time out of his busy sober day to visit me in treatment," Bam wrote on Instagram alongside an old photo of him and Novak.

Novak, who has battled heroin addiction, responded to Bam, writing, "I truly credit u for saving my life by getting me out of Baltimore and for that and many other reasons there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for u. I love u cream stain."
