Aya Cash Injured on 'You're the Worst' Set After Stunt Gone Wrong

4:15 PM PT:FX Networks tells The Blast, "During production of the comedy series You’re the Worst, three crew members and one actor suffered minor injuries during an accident involving a stunt. Thankfully, none of the injuries were serious and all of those involved are OK."

They continue "We are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident. We are grateful to the medic and crew on set who responded so quickly and professionally, adding that "A previously planned production hiatus began today for the 4th of July holiday and production is scheduled to resume next Thursday."

Aya Cash, who plays Gretchen on the hit FXX show "You're the Worst," was injured on set early this morning after a stunt involving a car crash went awry.

Sources tell The Blast that the show was filming a stunt where a car was supposed to crash into a highway overpass. We're told the cables that were strapped to the vehicle snapped and flew back wildly, striking Cash in the legs and feet. The untethered cables also injured two crew members, hitting one in the arm and leg and the second in the neck.

We're told that the show has medics on set so Aya Cash and the crew members were immediately tended to and thankfully the injuries were not severe.

FX confirmed the incident to The Blast and everyone at the network is happy Cash will be okay.

Cash and her co-star, Kether Donohue, were posting photos and videos on social media overnight from the location of the shoot.

"You're the Worst" began filming season five, the show's last, in mid-June. Fans of the show will remember that season four ended with Gretch and Jimmy-Stupid-Three-Names getting engaged. Our sources tell us Aya Cash was dressed in a wedding gown for the scene when the crash occurred.

Production on the show was shut down following the incident but it will hopefully resume soon.
