Asia Argento Says She's 'Fine' as She Seeks Comfort From God & David Bowie Following Anthony Bourdain's Death

By TheBlast Staff

Asia Argento wants everyone to know she's doing her best to cope with Anthony Bourdain's death, seeking comfort from God and David Bowie.

The award-winning chef's girlfriend took to Instagram just one week after Bourdain took his life, posting several inspiring messages. Tagging herself in Berlin, Germany, Argento photographed a card with the statement, "I'm a f*cking mess" crossed out with "I'm fine" underneath it.

She also shared a few words in Spanish asking the holy spirit to "guide" and "enlighten" her. The entire verse translates to: "You who are good and holy guide me towards the light of your paths, let me listen to your voice and help me know that you are with me. May your holy spirit enlighten me in every step, decision and action that I make; in every word that comes out of my mouth. I trust in the abundance of your Love and protection."

Argento ends her post with lyrics from David Bowie's "Lazarus," saying, "Look up here, I'm in heaven. I've got scars that can't be seen. I've got the drama, can't be stolen. Everyone knows me now."

As The Blast reported, Asia Argento's dear friend, Rose McGowan, flew to Rome to be by her side after news broke that Bourdain hanged himself inside his hotel room in France. This is the first time we've heard from Argento since McGowan also released a statement on her behalf.
