A$AP Rocky Says He Has Nothing Against Swedish People In First Concert Since Arrest

A$AP Rocky thanked everyone for the support while he was in custody in Sweden, and asked for prayers as he awaits the verdict in the criminal case.

A$AP was the headlining act Sunday night at the Real Street Festival at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. He began the performance while wearing a retro mask from "The Incredible Crash Dummies," before removing it and addressing the crowd.

"Everybody listen, I know you was praying for me," the rapper told the screaming audience.

He said, "I'm gonna need you to keep praying for me. Hopefully with God's will I'm not guilty."

A$AP explained that he expects the jury to have a verdict in his criminal case by Wednesday of this week, and that, "Hopefully we don't have to go back to jail."

The hip-hop star also said that, "I don't got anything against Swedish people," explaining that Swedish fans were "riding outside the jail, protesting," and also writing him while he stayed in custody.

A$AP wrapped up with, "I hope that I'm not guilty."

Along with putting on a great show, A$AP brought out friends like YG and Tyler the Creator to join him on stage.

As we reported, the star was allowed to return home after spending weeks in custody following accusations of assault.

After he was released from custody, A$AP wrote to fans,

"THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE I WANT TO THANK THE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT."
