Arnold previously revealed that he gets along with Chris really well but before he gave his blessing for the marriage, he had to get to know Pratt the only way he knows how... in the gym. He told Jimmy Kimmel that he needed to see if Chris could hold his own in the weight room.

“Of course, the first thing when we met, he says, ‘Can we have a workout together? I need to have the inside scoop to the pumping iron,’ ” Arnold joked on Kimmel's show. “Pumping iron was the decision-making factor, absolutely. We were in the gym, that was it.”

Cheers to one strong family.
