Arnold Schwarzenegger Appears In Good Spirits After Evacuating His Home Due To Wildfire

Arnold Schwarzenegger knows the show must go on so he put on a brave face as he appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after he was forced to evacuate his home due to the Getty Fire.

The premiere of his new movie, "Terminator: Dark Fate" was canceled because the fire is threatening thousands of homes, including Arnolds.

Arnold Puts On A Brave Face


Arnold smiled and waved to fans as he made his way into the Hollywood studio.

As firefighters and first responders work on eliminating the threat, Schwarzenegger and his team felt he could make the appearance.

"I'm very impressed that you're here," Jimmy Kimmel said, "because you had to be evacuated from you home last night, correct?"

Arnold jokingly responded, "that's nothing for an action hero, come on!"

"I'm happy that my house hasn't burned down," Arnold said seriously.

The Getty Fire


The Getty fire broke out along the 405 freeway near Getty Center Drive early Monday morning and spread to over 600 acres due to the winds.

The fire has destroyed eight homes and damaged five in the celebrity-packed neighborhood of Brentwood.

Celebrities have been thanking firefighters, donating money, and encouraging fans to do the same.

Arnold's Son-in-law Chris Pratt Donates

Arnold's son-in-law, Chris Pratt took to his social media to thank first responders.

"I personally will be going to to make a donation," Pratt wrote on Instagram. "so thankful to the men and women in uniform who risk it all, working around the clock to save our lives, homes, and city."

Tons of other celebrities had to be evacuated including Lebron James and "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Dorit Kemsley.
