Ariel Winter may be just as worried about the coronavirus pandemic as anyone else, but she was willing to risk it all for her fans by venturing outside without wearing a facemask. The “Modern Family” star took to Instagram early Monday morning from the East Coast and posted a couple photos of her OOTD while watching a groggy NYC pull themselves out of bed post-daylight saving time.
Standing against a window and overlooking the city, Winter showed off more than her new hairdo, as she wore a sheer top that left little to the imagination.
“lil ? in the big ? trying to dodge Coronavirus and apparently do a pit check in the second pic???”
The 22-year-old star looked amazing with her hands above her head while showing off a see-through turtleneck and black bra. The “Modern Family” star also showed off her recent color transformation, as Winter ditched her trademark dark hair for strawberry blonde as the 11th Season of “Modern Family” came to a close and ended the series.
“Bye bye dark hair,” she wrote in a caption weeks ago alongside a video showing off her deep brunette curls. “I don’t think I’ll miss you.”
As the rest of the country is seeing increasing numbers of patients confirmed with COVID-19, NYC is no exception. As of Monday morning, NYC has 16 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with the latest patient being confirmed Sunday in The Bronx.
Mayor Bill de Blasio is urging anyone in the city who feels sick to stay home and away from congested areas, such as subways or other types of mass transit. As of now, coronavirus is known to spread through direct contact or close contact with anyone infected, so staying away from mass gatherings is the best advice.
Ariel Winter’s choice of outfit while in NYC is stunning, but may also be a subtle nod to the shade she was thrown by critics after she wore a see-through dress to the “Modern Family” wrap party. Co-star Sarah Hyland stepped up for her TV sister in the days after Winter caught flack from the fashion police, making it clear that she will have Winter’s back ’til the end of time.
“I love these people with all my heart. 11 years together is proof you and your tv sister will start wearing the same outfit, siblings for life will be made, and you’ll forever fight over the same professor ? We’ll always be Dunphys and we’ll always have each other.”
