Ariana Grande is toting around a bag that has significant meaning.

The "God is a Woman" singer was seen out on Friday in New York City, holding a clear limited edition Hermès bag that was created over two decades ago in memory of the eight people who lost their lives during the 1995 Paris bombing.

Grande's vintage tote is customized with "Sweetener" written on the side, which she is clearly displaying because her new album just dropped today.

Hermès made the bag after the attacks so it would be easier for people to go through security at the airport. The company gave away the vinyl totes in 1996 as invitations to their S/S fashion show encouraging guests to wear this bag as a sign of solidarity.

In 1997-1999, Hermès created a limited number of these bags that were only available to those who attended their traveling exhibition, "Hermes exhibition in the wonderland."

Grande has been very vocal about supporting victims of terrorist attacks, especially after she found herself a part of one.

In 2017, a suicide bomber took the lives of 22 people as thousands were exiting Grande’s Manchester show. Back in May, she paid tribute to the victims on the one-year anniversary of the incident and even got a tattoo in their honor.
