Ariana Grande Swears Her Cover Up of Pete Davidson's Tattoo is Not a Cover Up

Just as Ariana Grande's relationships are evolving, so is her body art.

The "thank u, next" singer sat down for an early morning tattoo session over the weekend, and targeted an area she once dedicated to ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson.

Grande had "always" inked on her ribcage in script last June, when she was still hot and heavy with the "SNL" star, but has been slowly changing out her tattoos since the breakup.

Her newest transformation sees "always" being covered up by the outline of a leaf. The singer tried to get around the judgment by pointing out that it's "not a cover up just evolvin," however Pete has also been changing up his body art after the engagement.

Nothing is permanent, these days.
