There are definitely two things Ariana Grande is obsessed with: dogs and "Harry Potter."

Now she has combined them both and rescued two new puppies and named them after the magical couple that could never be.

The star shared cute pictures of her new pets wearing hoodies with the names Snape and Lily.

For those of you that don't know, Snape is Ariana's favorite character and she has posted her love for the "Harry Potter" franchise and the character several times.

The names are the most interesting thing about the new pups, who we are sure will be attending Hogwarts in the fall.

Harry Potter's parents' names are James and Lily but make sure you notice that Grande didn't choose the name James.

As the wizarding story goes, James won the love of Lily but there was another who loved Harry's mom ... Snape!

Snape is believed to be the bad guy throughout several movies but in the end, it is revealed that he cares for Harry and was always loyal to the Hogwarts headmaster, Dumbledore.

We are sure that is why the Snape character tugs at the heartstrings of the "Thank U Next" singer.

Even though Snape didn't get the girl in the story, having a famous pop star name her dog after you is the next best thing.

Ariana's other dog recently took center stage by appearing on the cover of Vogue with the singer.

Toulouse the pup stole all the attention.

Grande adopted Toulouse from an animal shelter in 2013 and he is reportedly a beagle-chihuahua mix.

We are sure Toulouse won't mind sharing the spotlight with the new pups.
