Antonio Brown Cut by The New England Patriots In Wake of Rape Accusations

By Gary Trock

Antonio Brown is once again looking for an NFL team after the New England Patriots cut him just 11 days after he signed a contract.

The Pats just released a statement:

"The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time."

The Patriots scooped up Brown on September 7, immediately after he was released by the Oakland Raiders following his fight with the GM and requests to be set free.

After Brown was accused of sexual assault by a former trainer, it seemed the Patriots had started to distance themselves from the star wide receiver, even though he scored a touchdown for them last weekend in his debut against the Miami Dolphins.

After the Patriots made the announcement, Brown came out with a statement of his own, thanking the organization for the opportunity.

"Thank you for the opportunity @Patriots #GoWinIt," he wrote.

Brown has been sued by Britney Taylor, a former trainer, who claims the NFL star sexually assaulted her on three separate occasions.

A second woman has also came out and accused him of sexual misconduct.

In perhaps the least egregious, but still serious, Brown was also sued for farting in his doctor's face.

The NFL star has denied the allegations of sexual assault.
