Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown is refusing to turn over private text messages to his alleged rape victim, as he battles his baby mama in a separate dispute.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Brown is back in court in the case accusing him of assaulting his personal trainer.
Last year, Brown was hit with a lawsuit from his former personal trainer, Britney Taylor, accusing him of sexual assault. The trainer accuses Brown of assault on three separate occasions. Brown denies the allegations and counter-sued Taylor.
The alleged victim recently demanded Brown hand over a bunch of documents and evidence. She requested copies of private text messages (including iMessage, WhatsApp Messages, Facebook Messages, Instagram Direct Messages or any communication) that discuss the alleged sexual assaults. Taylor wants copies of Brown’s home surveillance footage, including all interactions with Brown and a woman under the age of 35. She even asked for a list of all women who have accused Brown of sexual assault.
In newly filed documents, Brown objects to the majority of demands for evidence or documents. He says responding to the demand “would subject Defendant to significant financial harm at the hands of Plaintiff.”
In regard to home surveillance, Brown says he is not in possession or control of any home surveillance or security footage of Taylor. He says the request to turn over security footage of him interacting with women under the age of 35 from 2016 to present is “harassing”.
According to the lawsuit, the first alleged incident happened in 2017 when Taylor says AB “exposed himself and kissed her without consent.”
The next month, while at Taylor’s home, the trainer says Brown masturbated near her without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back. She says he later bragged about it in a series of text messages.
The third incident allegedly happened in 2018, Taylor says after a night out in Miami she went back to AB’s home to use the bathroom. She claims the football star “forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her.”
Taylor says she became friends with Brown at college. They reconnected years later when he hired her as a personal trainer. The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages. Brown has denied the allegations and counter-sued Taylor.
Taylor released a statement following her lawsuit, “As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision, I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault.”
The legal drama comes as Brown had a police showdown with his baby mama Chelsie Kyriss. He accused her of trying to steal his Bentley from his driveway. The officers ended with Kyriss being driven away after Brown shouted slurs at his baby mama.
