Verna Bloom, who was best known as Dean Wormer's booze-chugging wife in the 1978 classic, "Animal House," has passed away at 80-years-old.

Bloom died Wednesday in Bar Harbor, Maine from complications of dementia, according to her family. Bloom's character of Marion Wormer was immortalized in cinematic history for her participation in the iconic comedy, including her sexy scene with actor Tim Matheson at Delta Chi's toga party.
