By Gary Trock

Angelina Jolie apparently doesn't have enough on her plate, because she's now going to be penning articles as an editor for Time.

Time's editor-in-chief, Edward Felsenthal, announced Wednesday that the "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil," star will be a contributing editor for the news publication.

Don't expect Jolie to dish out dirt on her Hollywood cohorts though, as she will be covering displacement, conflict and human rights on a global scale.

Time already has a bio page up for the star, describing her as an "AcademyAward-winning actor and Special Envoy of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees."

Jolie also published an article Wednesday morning, titled, "What We Owe Refugees."

In the article, the addresses the stigma with the word "refugees," and points out that the "distinction between refugees and migrants has been blurred and politicized."

Jolie's article also coincides with World Refugee Day. Along with the online publication, her piece will also be published in the July 1 issue of the print magazine.

Earlier this month, the former Mrs. Brad Pitt traveled to Maicao, Colombia to visit a refugee camp in the border between Colombia and Venezuela.

The camp in Maicao has 60 tents which can accommodate up to 350 people. Due to high demand, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is considering an expansion to give shelter to 1,400 people, and Jolie was there to meet with people and assess the situation.
