Angela Simmons has a great foundation and one foot firmly planted on the ground.
The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star struck a pose and did her best to make sure her followers had a good morning on Tuesday. However, she didn’t use good morning but switched out the phrase with “Grand Rising.” Angela looked amazing in a tiny string bikini as she pulled off an impressive tree yoga pose.
The picture was pretty sweet but also a little sour because her see-through top had a citrus twist. Simmons accessorized with big diamond stud earrings and a cute anklet that was barely visible because she had her toes buried in the sand.
“Grand Rising ?☀️,” she captioned her beachy pic.
“Grand Rising” is an alternative to “Good Morning” and many believe it is a more positive expression. One train of thought is that morning sounds exactly like mourning and that it is not a great way to start the day.
Her millions of fans seemed to appreciate the greeting and her sweet pose and sounded off in the comments about how good she looked.
“You look amazing always my Babe ??,” a complimentary follower wrote, while another said, “Grand Risings Queen????.”
Simmons has been enjoying her beach trip and it seems like her 3-year-old son, Sutton Joseph Tennyson is also having a good time.
“Woke up so grateful. So filled with love . Baby boy is my heartbeat ? ? #SandnSunIsMyFuel ❤️,” she captioned a kissy pic while the mommy/son duo were playing in the sand.
The proud mama also shared an adorable video of the little guy dancing to “Old Town Road” on the beach to her Instagram story.
File this under too cute! Little Sutton told the camera that he has a girlfriend… and it’s his mom!
“Do you have a girlfriend?” Angela’s friend asked him.
“Yes, named Angela,” he quickly responded before elaborating, “Mommy!”
Obviously, Simmons had to share the adorable video and said, “Lol when @shespersian asked Sj today this ?? so cute ! I didn’t even teach him this ! Haaaaa.”
All we know is that he took his girlfriend to the beach and that puts most of us to shame.
Simmons participated in a social media challenge recently with the goal of sharing a little positivity in the world by sharing a picture of herself.
“I accept the challenge. We are BLACK WOMEN… We build… We don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN… We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will be deliberate about building others!” she captioned her pic.
“All too often we women find it easier to criticize each other other than building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!”
Simmons often uses her platform to be a light in the world, especially in these trying times.
