Angela Simmons shared a cool picture with her famous pops, Rev Run, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith on Sunday night. The group got together for a picture after the amazing performance of the historical rock-rap song, "Walk This Way" on the Grammys stage. Run DMC originally covered the song in the 80s and the legendary rap group got together with the famous rockers again to breathe life back into the song last night.

"They KILLED it💪💪❤️❤️❤️," one excited fan wrote while another said, "Great job Rev Ron[sic], the days when music was music 🎶 bring it back 🤗🤗😘😘🌹🌹🌹"

"Legendary cherish your family while you are here and Angela Simmons you a damn good mother tabernacle," another fan declared.

Sad Day With Mixed Emotions

Sunday was a sad day for people across the globe because Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and several other passengers passed away due to a horrific helicopter crash in Calabasas. Angela expressed her shock with a post on social media ahead of the Grammys.

"I’m literally sick to my stomach .... God cover his family . 🙏🏽 #RIHKobe #RIHGianna #Unreal I’m so sad :(" Simmons captioned a picture of Kobe and his family.

Rev Run also took the time to send some love to Kobe's family in the form of an old picture where he posed with a young Bryant. Despite the tragedy, the show must go on and Rev and the rest of Run DMC were true professionals on the Grammys stage.

Dealing With Death Recently

Unfortunately, Simmons has been dealing with death recently because she revealed that she had to have a discussion with her young son about her ex-fiancé's death. The "Growing Up Hip Hop" star broke down crying in an emotional clip from the WE tv series. She shared a sneak peek on her Instagram in which she described a recent conversation with her three-year-old son about the sudden death of his daddy while sitting down with a life coach. Her ex, Sutton Tennyson, was tragically shot and killed in November 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.

"I was with my son, and super emotional right, even to talk about it. He was looking out the window and he's like, 'Daddy, white car,'" Angela said while tearing up. "I question him, 'Where do you see him?' or 'Who is Daddy? What does he look like?' I'm asking him. I'm like, 'Do you want to see your dad?' and he's like, 'Yes.' So he comes over and I start showing him videos and pictures and stuff, and he stopped. It's not like he's full conversational yet, so this is what kind of makes it emotional. He was like, 'Is he alive?'"

It is nice to see that music can heal a little after she endured a tough week.
