Her Instagram Debut!

Prior to her new 'do, she had hot pink hair, which she debuted when she joined Instagram on September 10. In her very first photo, Amanda Bynes held her phone up for a mirror selfie and showed off her bright and flowing long locks. Wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, the actress didn't smile while she posed for the camera, but she did sport a bull ring septum piercing giving an edgier vibe than what fans were used to. Within 24 hours, she was declared "Instagram Queen" and had racked up more than 50k followers.

Amanda's New Look:

While she started off strong and showed multiple posts of her private life, fans grew confused when she suddenly stopped on September 15 after just 5 days of excessive posting. That is until she debuted her newest photo showing off her blue-hued transformation. Sharing her first post in 11 weeks, the "What a Girl Wants" star posted a selfie showing herself all bundled up in the cold with a lighter shade of blue in her hair. Sporting her locks up in a high ponytail, Amanda Bynes revealed the hot pink is gone and blue is in! "Geisha girl vibes 💌," she captioned the new shot.

Sober Living Home, Conservatorship & Drugs:

The "Hairspray" actress's post comes just one month after The Blast broke the story that she has been staying in a sober living group home following a relapse in January. "She's not doing well," a source told us at the time, adding her pink hair was an indication that she might be struggling again with her mental health. It was reported that the pressure of being back in the public eye and auditioning in Hollywood again proved "too much, too soon" for Amanda Bynes. The "She's All That" star's doctors and her mother thought it would be beneficial for her to move into the sober living home. Bynes is still under a conservatorship, which means the court and her mother have some control of her medical treatment and finances. Her family filed documents several years ago after she was hospitalized following an incident where she nearly lit her dog on fire. At the time, it was determined she was not mentally fit to control some aspects of her life.

During an interview with Paper Magazine in November 20018, Amanda Bynes admitted that she had tried cocaine and ecstasy recreationally, but her drug of choice was Adderall. Stating that it was labeled the "new 'skinny pill," the actress recalled her desire to use it for weight loss. "I was like, 'Well, I have to get my hands on that," she told the outlet. The actress also revealed she had faked ADD symptoms to a psychiatrist in order to get the pills and soon became hooked.
