Alicia Silverstone and Husband Split After 12 Years of Marriage

Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki have separated.

The actress and her husband of 12 years confirmed the split through their rep on Monday. "They still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends but have mutually decided to separate after being together for 20 years. They have a son together who they will continue to co-parent," their rep told E! News.

Silverstone and Jarecki have a six-year-old son together named Bear.

The two, who first started dating in 1997, wed back in 2005 at a private estate in Lake Tahoe.
