Alice Cooper Thinks John Legend May Be The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Alice Cooper doesn't just think John Legend was the perfect person to be cast as Jesus Christ, he thinks the singer embodies the same characteristics as the religious deity.
The "No More Mr. Nice Guy" rocker arrived into JFK airport earlier this week and was asked by comedian Adam Glyn about Legend playing the lead role in Sunday's live version of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
Cooper, who will play King Herod, says Legend possesses the same "ethereal quality" that Jesus was said to embody. He explained that when Jesus was being persecuted he never fought back, and says he sees that same "quiet power" in Legend.
As far as being worried about the religious backlash from the live TV performance? Nothing a few Hail Mary's won't fix.
