Matt Brown, who left “Alaskan Bush People” after a fight with his dad, Billy, may yet return to the reality show.
Billy and Ami Brown’s son, Matt, recently met with Billy to discuss burying the hatchet and perhaps coming back onto the show, according to Radar Online.
Matt has been going through some rough times, including a substance abuse relapse.
At the end of Season 8, after a huge fight with Billy, Matt left Washington and the show. He was reportedly walking around Southern California for a time before he checked in to the Betty Ford Clinic. This last visit may have done the trick. A source says:
“Matt has been sober since he left Betty Ford. But this is the first time that he has seen his family since he left. Needless to say, it has been very emotional.”
Matt has been dropping hints that he might soon be back to Browntown, like this picture of a Washington candle store he was visiting.
He’s posted several positive messages, including this one of a sign that says “Not all who wander are lost.”
Matt’s reason for a return may be simple enough: He needed the money. The source continues:
“He ran out of options and was broke. Matt has turned his life around and he wants to be back on the show.”
