'Alaskan Bush People' Star Billy Brown Seen In Hospital, Family Gives Update

The patriarch of the "Alaskan Bush People" was seen for the first time since the family announced he had suffered a major setback.
Bear Brown shared a photo of his father, Billy Brown, on Monday night.
Billy can be seen laying on his side playing with his grandson, Elijah.
Elijah is the newborn of Billy's youngest son, Noah and his wife, Rhain Alisha.
"Doing better! With the best kind of medicine! A Grandbaby!!!" Bear captioned the photo of his father cradling the baby.
Unfortunately, even though the family is being optimistic, Billy appears to be very weak in the photo.

As we reported, Billy underwent surgery last week, but things haven't gone as planned.
The family gave an update that the reality star was still having "some major medical issues," and was going to be kept in the hospital for days more while doctors performed more tests.
The reality star has been suffering from major difficulties with breathing, and while the specifics are still unclear, he recently told the family that he may never return to work on the family's homestead in Washington.
Although the Brown's namesake is farther up north, the family left Alaska after their mother, Ami Brown, was diagnosed with cancer.
She needed to be closer to civilization, and medical facilities, so the family planned on living off the grid.
At the same time the Brown family is finding strength for their father, they are also preparing for two incoming babies, as both Bear and Gabe are expecting babies.
Gabe and his wife Raquel announced their big news back in July, and most recently Bear announced he was having a baby with his ex-fiancée, Raiven.
