Alanis Morissette Announces Plans For 'Jagged Little Pill' 25th Anniversary Tour And New Album

In may only be December, but Alanis Morissette fans are likely already looking ahead to this summer after the rock legend announced a massive new tour in honor of the 25th anniversary of her classic album, “Jagged Little Pill.” The tour will feature 31 live shows across North America and will launch on June 2nd in Portland, Oregon. The final show will be July 25th in Nashville, Tennessee.

The tour itself isn’t the only big news from the Morissette camp -- she also has a new album coming out. Her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road, will drop in May. It will be her first studio album since 2012’s Havoc and Bright Lights.

Two other female-fronted rock groups will be opening for Morissette on the tour. Liz Phair and Garbage both announced that they two will be performing at all 31 dates.

Tickets for the tour go on sale soon. Tuesday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. local time. General sale will begin Friday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m. local time.
