The performances on the last night “America’s Got Talent” for the quarterfinals of the competition looked like it wouldn't live up to the hype of the previous season's emotional rollercoaster … until a young opera phenom BLEW THE ROOF off of the place.

Emanne Beasha took the stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday night as the final act and belted out a transcending performance of “Ebben? Ne andrò lontana," from La Wally, that took the audience to the opera and made them forget the other acts.

It’s hard to imagine that Emanne is so young when you hear her angelic voice, which previously won the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Jay Leno.

Her performance left judges Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union on their feet, with Union almost being brought to tears.

'Old Town Road'

Other memorable performances of the night included beatboxers Berywam and their rendition of an “Old Town Road” and “O Fortuna.”

The remix took a little bit to get going but the crowd seemed to enjoy the recognizable portion of the Lil Nas X hit track.

BIG PREDICTION

NBC/AGT

The "AGT" audience got a chance to participate in magician Dom Chambers’s “Big Prediction,” and were surprised at the finish which included a standout from the show’s past contestants.

Round & Round We Go

Aerialist Matthew Richardson had a similar problem with his act going on too long and not being interesting enough. He just kept spinning and spinning under water, which did not add anything interesting to the performance.

One redeeming factor of Richardson’s performance, at least, was that he covered his rippling muscles in water.

The real drama goes down Wednesday, August 28th to see which performer’s dreams of winning it all will be kept alive.
