Boxer Adrien Broner Pleads Not Guilty to Sexual Battery

By TheBlast Staff

Troubled boxer Adrien Broner pled not guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery following an alleged incident at a mall.

According to court records, Broner entered the plea earlier this week in Fulton State Court in Georgia.

As The Blast previously reported, the Atlanta PD says that a woman at the Lenox Square mall in Atlanta claimed she had been inappropriately groped by a man that was later identified to be Broner. Police say Broner denied the allegations but after interviewing both sides, they decided there was enough to arrest him.

Broner was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.

The alleged victim filed a civil suit against Broner in March; he has yet to respond.

The former boxing champ was also sued in January following an incident in Las Vegas last year where Broner allegedly shoulder checked a guy on the street and then punched him in the face.
