Adele partied like it was 1912 (or 1997) to ring in her 30th birthday with a "Titanic" themed soireé. It's unclear if Adele got anyone to paint her like a french girl.
The "Hello" singer looked like the spitting image of Rose Dewitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) complete with a tightly curled updo and a recreation of Winslet's iconic beaded gown from the film.
Adele's party included an uncannily accurate replica of the famed grand staircase from the first class dining room.
"I’m not sure what I’m going to do for the next 30 years as I’ve been blessed beyond words in my life so far," Adele said on Instagram. The star included photos of the event in the post where revelers can be seen dancing the night away in vintage styled lifebelts. *Put ya lifebelts on!*
Mark Ronson, Zane Lowe and Aaron and Lauren Paul were among the lucky ones to receive an invite to celebrate aboard the RMS Titanic.
Some social media snowflakes expressed anger over the party's theme since over a thousand people perished when she sank over a hundred years ago. If it helps, Adele was clearly using the film as her inspiration, not the actual disaster itself. Adele has never hidden her obsession for the 1997 James Cameron disaster love story and even met Céline Dion wearing a Titanic-themed shirt, so let her have her moment.
And what a moment it was, according to Adele, it was the best night of her life.
"Thank you to everyone for coming along for the ride the last 11 years with me. My family and friends for entertaining my super fandom of the Titanic movie," she wrote on Insta. "Last night was the best night of my life. Here’s a couple pics. I’m absolutely fucked, not sure I’ll make it out the house again!"
