Aaron Carter was told by a troll that he should "book a helicopter flight" so his life could end the same way Kobe Bryant's tragically did. Days after the unexpected death of the NBA legend, someone left a nasty comment on a sweet photo of the "Hard To LøVë" singer and his new girlfriend, Melanie Martin. Sharing a snap of her kissing Aaron Carter's cheek on Monday night, Melanie captioned the couple photo calling Nick Carter's estranged brother "my person."

Despite fans shunning Melanie Martin when Aaron Carter first debuted their relationship on social media, it seemed like most of them are warming up to the couple. Several followers commented with words of encouragement for the duo. "Awe this is so cute," one fan wrote. "You two are adorable. Love this picture of you," added another. "Bullies really need leave Mel alone leave them be to live there life for f--- sake," said a third. But one follower didn't mirror those feelings and took their response WAY too far.

In a since-deleted comment, a troll responded to the picture by bringing up Kobe Bryant's death. "@aaroncarter you should book a helicopter flight," they wrote and added a fire emoji. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers star lost his life after his helicopter crashed and burst into flames in Calabasas, CA. He was traveling with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna aka GiGi, and 7 others. There were no survivors. Aaron Carter didn't seem to react to the tasteless comment, but his girlfriend did.

Responding to the troll, Melanie Martin wrote, "your [sic] disgusting" and several fans followed suit. "Wow," one follower commented in disbelief. "WTF is wrong with you?" asked another. The comment about the helicopter crash has since been deleted. Interestingly enough, prior to the troll's response, Aaron Carter told fans "I value my life." Posting a sweet video with his girlfriend, the singer wrote a lengthy post about his love for Melanie Martin and his excitement about their future together.

"I know that when you believe in someone and they believe in you they're willing to do whatever it takes to protect their honor," he wrote. "Boundaries should start from the beginning of your relationships and healthy boundaries, for those, may seem to be intrusive, and my boundaries belong to the one I marry not strangers." Aaron Carter ended his message saying, "I protect myself and always will and those I love. I know my worth. I value my life. I'm ready for the next chapter in my life. Whatever that may entail."
