It's an interesting move for the 31-year-old considering fans are worried for the singer's mental state after he publicly accused his older brother, Nick Carter, of abuse and sexual assault.

The Backstreet Boy later got a restraining order on Aaron claiming his brother hears "voices in his head."

Nick also stated that Aaron allegedly threatened to kill his pregnant wife.

The older Carter stated that Aaron has exhibited increasingly "unstable behaviors and recently admitted to having schizophrenia with multiple other mental disorders," and he was scared for his family.
