The ongoing drama between estranged brothers Aaron and Nick Carter just took an even darker turn after Aaron claimed he was sexually assaulted by one of his own family members.

The 31-year-old singer went on a long Twitter rant early Thursday morning, and revealed extremely personal details about his mental health and treatment.

"It runs in the family. I never wanted to tell anyone this. But I have too," Aaron tweeted out around 4 AM.

Aaron then went on to claim explain that his late sister, Leslie Carter, suffered from "bipolar" disorder, and that she allegedly took lithium to treat the symptoms.

However, he explained that, "She never liked the way it made her feel and when she was off of it she did things that she never meant to do I truly believe that. I was 10 years old..."

Aaron then claimed he was sexually abused by his sister between the ages of 10 - 13 years old:

"my sister raped me from the age of 10 to 13 years old when she wasn’t on her medications and I was absused [sic] not only sexually by her but by my first two back up dancers when I was 8 years old. And my brother absused [sic] me my whole life."

He says the alleged sexual abuse caused him to seek therapy for the last 15 years, and that, "I’ve been through many different treatments, I have finally found the right treatment."

Aaron also now claims he has never been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, despite what he said on "The Doctors."

One of his reasons for revealing the secret about his sister Leslie, who died in 2012 of a suspected drug overdose, is that Aaron is also accusing his brother of abusing a member of their family.

"Now it’s nicks turn to tell the tell the truth of what he did to one of the girls in my family. Since my truth is all out there and I hope all survivors of assault or rape find peace and justice," Aaron wrote.
