“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis is getting support from Thomas Ravenel’s ex-girlfriend who went to court to help her in the nasty custody battle.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Luzanne Otte, who dated Ravenel, filed an affidavit in court in support of Dennis.
Otte met Ravenel through a mutual friend after his break-up with Dennis. She said the thing that stood out is that Ravenel constantly talked about Dennis saying she used drugs.
She claimed he once said he “would be better off is she overdosed.” Otte also accuses him of wishing death upon Dennis’ mother who had breast cancer.
Otte says when she spent time with him, “Each of the days I was in Charleston, Thomas would drink alcohol at night. He had prescriptions for Adderall, Cialis and a sedative in his bathroom.”
Further, “Each night, Thomas would become impaired and his mood would quickly turn aggressive. I do not know if it was from drinking too much or whether he had an extreme reaction to alcohol combined with whatever medication he was taking.”
He would become enraged for no apparent reason and berated a person walking by on the street. She claims he even accused her of having sex with his neighbor at one point. She wrote, “I felt like I had entered the twilight zone.”
She says his nanny took care of his kids while she was around.
She broke up with him shortly after returning home and says things didn’t end there. In early 2018, she says Ravenel and his current girlfriend Ashley started harassing her.
Otte claims that Ravenel had told her he dumped Ashley to date him, only to get back with her after she broke up with him.
She ends saying, “I have absolutely nothing to gain from providing this affidavit. If patterns hold, doing so will serve to exacerbate existing harassment. However, in light of the depraved statements that Thomas made about Kathryn Dennis and her Mother, I feel morally obligated to share the information.”
Dennis filed the affidavit along with several others to support her in the custody battle.

The Blast
Back in November 2018, Ravenel filed a lawsuit against Bravo and “Southern Charm” producers demanding a judge stop them from broadcasting unaired footage on the show.
Ravenel filed the docs as part of his custody battle with Dennis. She filed for primary custody of the children back in October.
Dennis had her custody taken away in 2016 after failing a drug test but was awarded joint custody this year after completing rehab and staying clean. In his suit against Bravo, Ravenel says the network and “Southern Charm” producers “encouraged” his ex to file for custody against him to create drama on the show.
He is demanding Dennis not be awarded primary custody despite her request. Ravenel, who is about to be on trial for an alleged sexual assault in South Carolina, claimed he learned that Bravo and producers have unaired footage of his kids and ex talking about the legal battle and it was to be aired on the upcoming season. The reality star sued demanding a South Carolina judge prohibit the sensitive footage from airing on the show.
Ravenel would later file docs accusing Dennis of buying drugs from friends and show producers and even accused her of committing a hit-and-run.
Dennis fired back denying the allegations and demanded the lawsuit be dismissed. She accused him of past drug use and claimed he hired a private eye to follow her allegedly in violation of the restraining order in place.
The custody battle is ongoing.
All this comes after the two were able to reunite for their daughter’s Kindergarten graduation, where they were able to stand next to each other amicably.
