A Snap For The Holidays

Aussie couple Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have been married since 2006 and share two daughters out of their home base in Nashville. In a cute new Instagram post on Urban's account, the couple wished their fans happy holidays.

"From our family to you and yours -- Blessings to you all this holiday season!!!!!!!!!!!! - KU"

If you've ever wondered how Kidman maintains her perfect porcelain skin, this picture should offer an explanation. The Oscar winner was shrouded in a glam shawl, a hat, and sunglasses despite being under an outdoor overhang.

A Message To Their Fans

In Urban's Instagram story, the couple continued to wish their fans goodwill, especially those in Sydney, Australia, after Urban's recent run of shows at the new Sydney Coliseum.

"We just want to say thank you very much to everybody here in Australia for the last few nights out at Sydney Coliseum, it was so fun, we had the best time.

Just kicking back right now, enjoying Christmas! Hope you guys all have a wonderful Christmas and a great new year, we'll see you soon, bye."

Urban Calls Their Marriage 'Life-Giving'

The couple has been married for 13 years now, and while they have had their share of ups and downs, they seem to be in it for the long haul. Urban told Kicks Country 99:

"Thankful that, well, my marriage is just, it’s life-giving, not just life-changing, it’s been life-giving for me. And from there, we created life, and that’s just beautiful, absolutely beautiful. And the effect that all of that has had in my work, has given life to it too, given it a sense of purpose and really deepened the experience for me."

The Key To Making It Work

Kidman told Harper's Bazaar that they put in the effort to make their marriage work, crediting their conscientiousness as the key to success.

"Obviously I work hard, but when I’m off, I’m off. Keith and I are very good at immediately clicking off because we have a really good life in Nashville that’s very simple, quiet and nourishing because we’ve made it like that.

We’re pretty strict with the boundaries on what we allow in terms of work into our home. I used to have an office in my house and I just got rid of it – it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I finally went, ‘This is not a good thing.’"
