Union tweeted on Wednesday that she had a meeting with the network recently to discuss her concerns once again.

"We had a lengthy 5-hour, and what I thought to be, productive meeting yesterday," she tweeted. "I was able to, again, express my unfiltered truth. I led with transparency and my desire and hope for real change.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Hough to ask her thoughts on Union meeting with the network.

"That's awesome. Oh good. That's amazing," Hough said at the Annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. "Honestly, we've been here doing so many rehearsals I haven't really looked at my phone, but that makes me really happy. That's such an amazing step in shifting the paradigm of the workplace and it's great."

Hough has made it clear that she did not experience any of the negative situations that Union has described.

"My option was not picked up," Hough said. "I found out later as I had conversations. But everybody has their unique experiences whether it was on 'AGT' or multiple other shows that people have. So everybody has their unique human experience. That's what it is to be human and so I value everybody's voice and I just feel like everybody should be heard. Whether that's publicly or privately, I feel like everybody has that choice and that right."

Fans on Twitter had plenty of reactions to Union's news that she met with NBC.

"I really want to believe they didn't waste your time and that this meeting was rooted in a true desire to right a wrong and not just check a box," one wrote.

"You are a beautiful person inside and out. I hope they really took in what you had to say!" another said.

"Thank you for being a voice for change that so many of us desire and long for. It's a difficult time, but know you will always be appreciated and be on the right side of history for making this sacrifice. Be blessed Queen!" a third commented.
