Actress Evangeline Lilly believes Coronavirus is being overblown and refuses to quarantine her family.

Earlier this week, the actress posted a photo of a teacup captioned, “#morningtea ☕️ Just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusual.

One fan commented, “I think something is going on behind the scenes but that’s just me, every few years some disease come out quick then disappears as quick as it came.” Lilly agreed, “there’s “something” every election year.”

The actress revealed she is living with her father who has stage 4 leukemia. She explained her decision to not quarantine, “I am also immune-compromised at the moment. I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices.”

Lilly believes Coronavirus is a normal “respiratory flu” and doesn’t believe the government should be taking so much control.

She continued, “Where we are right now feels a lot too close to Marshall Law for my comfort already, all in the name of a respiratory flu. It’s unnerving…Let’s be vigilant right now. And kind. Watchful and gracious — keeping a close eye on our leaders, making sure they don’t abuse this moment to steal away more freedoms and grab more power.”

Lilly was quickly trashed by her followers over her decision to live freely at the moment. One wrote, “you know it’s not all about the US right? This started in China three months ago and is now in Europe … Stop the conspiracy theories and read the scientific facts and date. You have a voice as a celebrity and spreading false news is not how your voice should be used.

Another said, “what a ridiculously ignorant comment from both of you.” One pleaded, “Please stay home with your family. Flatten the curve and save lives. Irresponsible.”
