Dennis Quaid's 'Parent Trap' Co-Star Elaine Hendrix Has The Best Response To His Engagement

Actor Dennis Quaid, 65, is getting married four the fourth time to University of Texas Ph.D. student Laura Savoie, 26. He explained that he purchased the ring ahead of time before proposing in Oahu.

"I had the ring in my pocket … It has been kind of a month-and-a-half plan. I wanted it to be private. She was actually taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ — and then she fell down."

Because of the drastic age gap, people on Twitter had plenty of jokes at Quaid's expense. Sometimes the internet is united in fury at injustice, and sometimes it is united at the expense of an aging movie star.

However, the best joke came from his co-star from The Parent Trap Elaine Hendrix. In The Parent Trap, Hendrix played a 26-six-year-old blonde woman who tried to marry Quaid's character but was scared away by his hilariously scheming twin daughters.

She jokingly warned Savoie to "watch out for those twins!" Quaid has fraternal twins with his third ex-wife, Kimberly Buffington.
