Sharing a snap from his big day, Priestley wore a stripped shirt and a giant smile on his face while surrounded by boats.

His family kept it festive and made sure to document 50 with a cardboard cut-out of the numbers for the actor.

Holding a coffee in hand, Priestley looks excited to take on the future ahead.

"Hey everyone, thanks for all the #birthday wishes... it's not every day you #turn50," he captioned the shot. "This is what 50 looks like today... I am blessed to spend it with my family who mean more to me than anything."

Tagging his wife and kids, he says, "that’s my team."
