“90 Day Fiancé” star Paul Staehle filed a restraining order against his estranged wife Karine Martins.
According to reports, Paul filed bombshell court documents in the days after his public fight with Karine.
In the petition, the reality star claimed Karine had put glass in his meals. He wrote, “I previously found glass in my food. I found similar glass shards from an item she broke.”
He also said Karine’s “friends have been calling me threatening to come to my home and kill me. They requested I pay them $10,000 or I would never see my son again.”
In the court documents, Paul said Karine allowed their son Pierre, “to run in the street and get into chemical cabinets.” He also claimed Karine got physical with him during an altercation at their home. He said, “I fear for my wife’s safety and mental well-being. I fear for my son’s safety.”
As The Blast previously reported, Paul and Karine are in the middle of a nasty split. Karine called the police on Paul accusing him of refusing to let her leave. When cops arrived, Paul told the officers Karine was free to leave but accused her of cheating on him.
Paul told police that Karine had an open case with Child Protective Services. Paul called CPS on Karine accusing her of drinking around their son, which caused a case to be opened.
In the hours after the police showdown, Karine obtained a restraining order against Paul. In the petition, she accused Paul of controlling her life and refusing to let her leave. She even claimed Paul had sexually assaulted her multiple times.
Paul has denied the sexual abuse allegations. He wrote, “It truly breaks my heart it has come to this. I have bent over backward. I found work. Got a new home. A new car. Let her buy anything she wanted. I did the cooking cleaning laundry and took care of Pierre. I have never in my life physically or sexually assaulted anyone.”
